Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming bout.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the novice remains one of the sport's largest financial successes, frequently receiving massive paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
